Calf Implants

Working-out may not be enough to sculpt all of your body parts. Calves, for example, are just impossible to develop by means of conventional methods.
Calf augmentation surgery can improve the shape of your calves, ensuring the right proportions between the upper and lower leg. Calf implants are elongated silicone shapes with a smooth surface. Their size is selected during the first appointment. The surgery is carried out under a general anaesthesia (full narcosis). Calf implants are placed through a small incision made just below the popliteal fossa.
Patients are advised to avoid standing position directly after the surgery. It is recommended to lie down or sit with legs up. Normal functioning is possible 2 to 3 weeks after the procedure and sports activities after at least 6 to 8 weeks.
