Kinesitherapy

Temporary mobility limitations are often inevitable side effects of surgical procedures. Many things which used to be simple and intuitive before the surgery, may pose challenges during recovery. It is crucial for all patients to get back to their normal life as fast as possible and it is equally important to have gentle and safe recovery.

Kinesitherapy stimulates circulatory and respiratory systems affected by insufficient mobility. To prevent negative effects of mobility limitation, we developed a set of simple exercises which are demonstrated to all patients before the surgery. Patients are recommended to perform these exercises every day for one hour.

The day after the surgery, in addition to their exercise routine, we teach patients the most suitable movement strategies for their recovery, e.g. how to properly sit and stand and how to walk, etc.
