Brachioplasty (Arm Lift)

Show off your bare arms
Going on a diet is a good way to enjoy a slender body. However, intense weight loss can sometimes lead to reduced skin tightness in areas once filled with fatty tissue. Arms are particularly prone to this problem, as excess lax skin is more visible. Instead of avoiding short-sleeved garments, just get rid of the problem. And if you combine the procedure with liposuction, the outcomes can be really spectacular.
Arm lift surgery is carried out under a general endotracheal anaesthesia. It is a procedure to remove unwanted skin on the upper arms, which sometimes leads to tightening of this area. In order to avoid hematoma, drains are left in the incisions under the skin. They are removed and the dressing is changed during a follow-up visit at the clinic 2-3 days after the procedure.
Swelling and bruising of the operated areas may be visible for several weeks after the treatment. During this time you should avoid making sudden movements and lifting heavy objects.
