Gynaecomastia

Get rid of an embarrassing problem
The enlargement of breast tissue in men can occur unilaterally or bilaterally and is usually triggered by hormonal disorders in puberty. Depending on the size and quality of the gland excessive tissue can be removed by means of suction lipectomy or an incision made around the areola.
If your glandular tissue is severely enlarged, excess skin may have to be removed as well. Usually gynecomastia is carried out under general anaesthesia and you will have to stay at the clinic overnight.
You may experience bruising or swelling directly after the procedure, which will gradually subside. Sutures are removed on day seven after the surgery.
